THIS IS OUR FARM

We are Cindale Farms, a second generation dairy farm in Marianna, Florida. We are a pasture based dairy and provide the milk for the ice cream at our creamery, Southern Craft Creamery. We strive to provide you with a delicious, high-quality product while providing optimal care for our land and cows.

Dairy cows are raised in a multitude of ways. Some farms keep their cows in barns, some keep them on pasture, and some provide both. Every farm is different and farmers pick a housing type that works best for their land, their animals, and their employees. At OUR FARM, we provide both rotationally grazed pasture access (we provide a new swath of fresh grass every 24 hours) plus access to a barn. That’s what fits our farm and our personal farming philosophy best.

THIS IS US

I wanted to introduce the family behind Cindale Farms & Southern Craft Creamery.
This is us...a PhD, a DVM, a 2nd grader, a teaching degree, and a double major in Marine Biology & Dairy Science.
Couldn’t leave out the 2nd grader!!

People often comment, “Wow, you guys must have everything together & have the perfect farm?!”

Um...nope, not even close! Farming is hard. Farming is challenging. Farming tests all your boundaries. It doesn’t matter how many dang letters come after your name...trust me, it doesn’t make it any easier.

We, like every other dairy farm family, strive daily to have the perfect farm, but we sometimes...okay, very often...fall short of our aspirations. And that’s okay. Some days are just hard, messy, ugly. Some days the place just doesn’t look quite as picture perfect as we had hoped. But there, literally, are just not enough hours in the day!

But, man oh man, is it SO worth it!!!

There is no greater joy than working with those you love, with animals you love & surrounded by the beautiful outdoors!!

We will always continue to strive to do the very best we can and to always take the best care possible of our cattle & land in order to provide you with delicious dairy products!!

And we couldn’t (& don’t) do this alone. We have an AMAZING team at both the farm & creamery that are integral to who we are and what we do!!

So cheers to all of you who wake up each day striving to do your very best possible!!!!

-Meg

THIS IS OUR THANK YOU

Our milk and our ice cream is a thank you to our family’s dairy farm that provides our fresh, non-homogenized milk. To the local growers who give us their best each season. To the South where great ingredients are plentiful. To our families who taught us the most amazing memories and bonds are made while sharing delicious food. And to you, for savoring and supporting the thing we most love to do.
